Ft. Pierce Central quarterback Tim Smith has been flying under the radar but that’s about to change. Smith’s Gridironstuds.com video has been making the rounds and after taking part in the Elite 11 Region QB Camp two weeks ago, people are starting to notice. Tim was a top performer at the camp showing accuracy, quickness and poise. Though he is still waiting for his first offer, the 6’2″ 185 lb signal caller has caught the eye of Duke, Oregon, Illinois, Florida St., Syracuse, Minnesota and Cincinnati. It’s only a matter of time before the offers roll in. Smith lists his favorite schools as Georgia, Miami, Florida and LSU. Chad Wilson is a college football recruiting expert and creator of the GridironStudsApp which allows high school football players to gain exposure to college football coaches and fans. Wilson is a former college football player for the University of Miami (92-94) and Long Beach St. (’90-’91) and played briefly for the Seattle Seahawks (’95). He is also a former youth and high school football coach for over 15 years most recently for 5-A State of Florida Champs American Heritage. Wilson’s oldest son Quincy plays in the NFL for the New York Giants and his younger son plays cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals.
