Football has become a wide open game even at the high school level. With the evolution of the spread offense, many times you will find four or even five wide receivers on the football field. With that in mind, what Kyle Brunson brings to the table is rare. Kyle Brunson owns the term “smash mouth” when he takes to the field. Brunson lives between the tackles and he does it well. Clip after clip on his video shows Brunson running through arm tackles and over those who dare to put their body in front of him. This is football the way the old-timers did it. Halas and Lombardi would be proud watching Brunson put it in gear and flat roll defender after defender. In 10 games as a junior, Brunson rolled up 1,500 yards and 20 TDs. “SMASH MOUTH” is a accurate description of this HS football “STUD”. Kyle Brunsons video was by far the one of most impressive videos I have seen for class of 2011. This kid “TRUCKS” defender after defender, He lays a “BEATDOWN” on defenses. I cannot remember seeing a HS video in which a RB possesses the ability to square up and plain-out run over defenders, “LEVERAGE”. This “STUD” RB is only a junior. The skys the limit (D1)for this young man, hit the weights this offseason. We will be following your HS senior season (2011)and looking forward to watching you play collegiately.
