Juwan Martin is an up and coming star in Illinois high school football. Despite not being the starter as a sophomore in 2008, Martin managed to compile some pretty impressive highlight clips. In only 30 attempts last season, Martin managed to throw 5 touchdowns. Martin also only had 20 rushing attempts but he totaled 300 yards off of those 20 attempts for a 6.0 yards per carry average from the quarterback position. Seven of those 20 rushing attempts resulted in touchdowns. Are you starting to get the point? When Juwan Martin touches the football, big things are going to happen. So far in 2009, Martin is leading his team in rushing (123 yards per game), passing (165 yards per game) and total yards per games (288). Chad Wilson is a college football recruiting expert and creator of the GridironStudsApp which allows high school football players to gain exposure to college football coaches and fans. Wilson is a former college football player for the University of Miami (92-94) and Long Beach St. (’90-’91) and played briefly for the Seattle Seahawks (’95). He is also a former youth and high school football coach for over 15 years most recently for 5-A State of Florida Champs American Heritage. He runs All Eyes DB Camp a defensive back training company located in South Florida IG: @alleyesdbcamp. Wilson’s oldest son Quincy plays in the NFL for the New York Giants and his younger son plays cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals.
