11/03/09: Video of the Day: Patrick Onwusor - WR - Inglewood H.S. (California)
Posted by Chad Wilson in Video of the Day on November 3rd, 2009
Yeah buddy, he’s rolling like a big shot! There are playmakers and then there are playmakers. Patrick Onwusor has a knack for big catches and long touchdowns. He’s part of what is an extremely talented Inglewood High School football team in the Los Angeles area. If you’ve been on the Gridironstuds.com website and have strolled through the videos, you have seen the Inglewood high school football players and Patrick is another in the line of extremely talented grid iron studs. Onwusor’s highlight tape is packed with Randy Moss type catches over unlucky defenders. He also displays a great pair of hands and desire to get to the end zone. One of the more impressive wide receiver highlight videos I have come across. View Patrick Onwusor’s highlight video.
10/29/09: Video of the Day: Dylan Admire - OL - Blue Valley West H.S. (Kansas)

Offensive linemen rarely get love but this one will. As a coach, it’s a pleasure to see a player execute with great technique and that’ s just what Dylan Admire does for Blue Valley West High School in Overland, Kansas. Like State Farm, Admire is a rock providing insurance for his backfield mates. Watch him serve up pancakes like a short order cook and shuffle his feet to keep hard charing defensive ends away from his signal caller. You can tell that he’s been coached up and he looks like he’s coachable. Admire made the rounds at the camps during the offseaason and left some good impressions and he will leave you with a good impression when you watch this video. This 2011 graduate to be will be a top prospect next season. View Dylan Admire’s highlight video, click here.
9-29: Video of the Day: Juwan Martin- QB - De La Salle High (Illinois)
Posted by Chad Wilson in Video of the Day on September 29th, 2009
Juwan Martin is an up and coming star in Illinois high school football. Despite not being the starter as a sophomore in 2008, Martin managed to compile some pretty impressive highlight clips. In only 30 attempts last season, Martin managed to throw 5 touchdowns. Martin also only had 20 rushing attempts but he totaled 300 yards off of those 20 attempts for a 6.0 yards per carry average from the quarterback position. Seven of those 20 rushing attempts resulted in touchdowns. Are you starting to get the point? When Juwan Martin touches the football, big things are going to happen. So far in 2009, Martin is leading his team in rushing (123 yards per game), passing (165 yards per game) and total yards per games (288). De La Salle is 4-1 on the season and averaging 32 points per game. Check out this bundle of explosion on the gridiron. Click here to view Juwan’s highlight video.
Baaaalllleeers ! Inglewood Sentinels Loaded with Talent
Posted by Chad Wilson in High School Football on September 24th, 2009
Talent is talent and Inglewood High School has it in large supply. The “Ballers” as they are also known by are one of a few teams with updated in-season highlight videos posted on Gridironstuds.com. In their most recent installment, you can witness several top prospects making big plays to carry their team on to victory.
First up is outstanding 2011 prospect defensive back Kyle Evans. Evans is the younger brother of Shaquelle Evans who signed on with Notre Dame in the ‘09 class. Evans can be seen making Division-I type plays on the football from his cornerback spot as well as showing some additional skill on the offensive side of the ball. 2012 wide receiver prospect Derrick Woods also opens your eyes with both his aggression on blocking and great pass catching skills. Woods is definitely one for college recruiters to keep an eye on. Woods has a swagger and a little bit of that “it” factor. At 2:23 on the video, he pastes some poor defender trying to pursue one of his teammates. It’s a must see.
2010 TE prospect Marcus Howard puts his stamp on the video with high quality tight end play which we have come to expect but Howard also shows up big time from his defensive end spot wreaking havoc on QB’s and ball carriers alike. The final installment in the highlight video is James Grace, a 6′2″ 200 lb. two way threat from his wide receiver and safety positions. Grace is aggressive and the first clip displays that. What was eye catching was his play making ability from the wide receiver spot. Grace only played in six games due to injury in 2008 and now it seems he’s ready to set the World on fire.
Inglewood is 2-0 to open the season with a 19-13 win over Quartz Hill and forfeit win over Kilpatrick. QB Shaun Alexander was 13 of 20 for 296 yards in the Quartz Hill win with Grace catching six balls for 162 yards. Howard caught three for 52.
The highlight video was produced by Sentinels staff member Stephen Thomas who is also the owner of Under the Radar Productions. His company makes highlight videos for aspiring college football players making big plays on the high school gridiron. Thomas always put together a great product and will keep your head bobbing with West Coast tunes while you watch the players do their thing. Check out Under the Radar Productions, click here.

Robey Clocks Fastest Nike Combine 40 Time this Year
Posted by Chad Wilson in High School Football on March 17th, 2009
Junior cornerback Anthony Robey clocked the fastest 40 time of the year at a NIKE Camp when he came through the line at 4.33 seconds. The 5′9″ 163 lb. Norristown High School product was one of only two participants to go under 4.5 seconds at the event. He was an all Suburban One League selection as a WR last season but has drawn little interest from schools to this point. Perhaps his accomplishments at this combine can shine a light on him his senior year.
