The comparison to Vick has to do with the running ability. His passing game is above a Michael Vick so don't get too hung up on that.

Mike Vick, NANNNNNNN!!!
Comparing this kid to Mike Vick does his game no justice. He is without a doubt a Vince Young caliber player. Yes he throws a bullet but he is more comfortable in the pocket than I have ever seen VICK. The run is definetely his secondary weapon but a weapon it is. He has good size and speed and by the video is not scared to stick his head in there to get the extra yard. The arm speaks for itself, in the video he shows you his great range and accuracy and he has very good decision making skills. 5star prospect if I ever seen one. Let no one call you a dual threat because you are a QB first and foremost.

Has a great presence in the pocket and a great sense of when to pull it down and run. Stays on his toes in the pocket and shifts his weight well. Knows when to throw the bullet and when to put some touch on the ball. Throws well on the run and is dangerous out of the pocket. When he pulls it down, he explodes into the 2nd level and becomes a massive threat. His ability to gobble up yards with his feet means defenders can't focus on their coverage responsibilities.
