3/01/13: Hodgdon is a brutal blocker that will get you square in his sights and eliminate you. When he gets a head of steam going, he's explosive on impact. He also brings that certain nastiness to the offensive guard position that you have to have. He blocks to the whistle and is out to crush the opposition. Hodgdon is also very quick which serves well on pulling plays as he gets in the hole on time and delivers a blow. He's also quick enough to get around the edge and lead up on counters and sweeps. Is an awesome fit for zone run schemes as his quickness and footwork would allow him to reach most defensive linemen in such a scheme. Hodgdon is also skilled in using a defender's leverage against him especially in pass blocking situations. Quite a few pancakes in his highlight video.
