Great size on this 8th grader but what sets him apart is his athleticism. He is nimble enough to make people miss but also big enough to run through and out of would be tackle attempts. Redmond is a force on both sides of the ball. On defense he is a difficult blocking assignment for anyone. He has both the quickness and size to destroy a blocking assignment, get in the backfield and make a tackle for a loss. Redmond also shows great range for a player of his size. He can make plays from side line to side line. Redmond will also chase a ball carrier down field and make a touchdown saving tackle. Offensively, Redmond's size makes it difficult to bring him down. He's also fast enough to out run most members of the defense. Redmond also displays a solid pair of hands out of the backfield. This leaves him one on one in the open field with defensive backs which quickly turns into a mismatch. Redmond is full of potential.
