3/31: Video of the Day: Lucky Radley - RB - Agoura Hills, CA

Talk about fun to watch! You will be hard pressed to find sweeter feet than those that belong to Lucky Radley. The 5′10″ junior from Agoura Hills High School in California makes one defender after another look really stupid on film. He’s a bar of soap, he’s shifty, he’s hard to catch and as rapper Lil Wayne says he’s mother%$# problem. The guy even has a Fan Club page on Facebook and he’s not the one who started it. What’s interesting is that Radley only has two scholarship offers (Arizona & San Diego St.) but he’s being recruited by teams as far away as the Florida Gators. Notre Dame, LSU, USC and UCLA all have shown interest so it’s only a matter of time before the offers come rolling in. For now, check out his video and get your popcorn ready: Lucky Radley Highlight video.

IN THE PIT: LB - Jeff Luc vs. RB - Tyrrell Willis

Jeff Luc - LB - Port St. Lucie, FL

VS. Tyrrell Willis - RB - Murray Kentucky

In our first edition of “IN THE PIT” we have matched up two of the most physical players on the entire Gridironstuds.com website.

In one corner we have Jeff Luc out of Treasure Coast High School. Since landing on Gridironstuds.com in January, Luc has become legendary. His penchant for the big hit has made his video a must see on this site. Football fans from coast to coast have been stunned by his level of violence on the football field. His hits have been so hard that some have speculated that they may be fake (don’t know how you would do that but…). Nevertheless,  let it be known, Jeff Luc will hit you and at 6′1″ 235 lbs, he is equipped to bring the pain. If somehow you were under a rock, locked up in prison or shipwrecked on the high seas and have not yet seen Luc’s film, you can look at it here: Jeff Luc’s highlight video.

In the other corner….

Tyrrell Willis may not be as well known as Jeff Luc but he brings the pain just the same. Rumor has it that defensive backs from schools slated to face Willis this season have transferred out of the area for what appears to be no apparent reason. At 6′2″ 255 lbs, Willis is a load. It’s not just Willis’ size that causes a defense problems it’s the way he carries it. Willis moves well for a guy his size (reported 4.65 forty yard dash) and like Luc, plays with an attitude. When Willis has the ball, Newton’s Laws of motion are in full effect. Watch Tyrrell Willis’ highlight video.

So, what would happen if the unstoppable force (Jeff Luc) faced the immovable object (Tyrrell Willis) full speed at the line of scrimmage? Who would win that matchup? “In the Pit” wants to know. Tell us now, CLICK HERE.

Seastrunk, Joyner and Luc Make Rivals Top 100

Wednesday saw the official release of the Rivals Top 100 list for Class of 2010. Included in the Top 10 were three Gridironstuds.com members. Running back Lache Seastrunk, Defensive Back Lamarcus Joyner and Linebacker Jeff Luc all made the top 10.

All three players were ranked the top players at their position. Seastrunk’s back to back 1,500 yard seasons for Temple High School in Texas has earned him dozens of offers and a #2 ranking by Rivals. Many schools are in the running including Florida, Miami, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and USC. Rumors have it that Seastrunk will stay at home and play for the Longhorns while other rumors say that LSU is the front runner.

#7 ranked Joyner’s speed and aggression has made him a menace for opponents and highly sought after by BCS college football teams. Joyner’s list of offers reads like a who’s who of college football with Alabama, Florida, Florida St., Miami and West Virginia all making a play for the solid prospect. Joyner’s move to St. Thomas Aquinas High School will likely give him more opportunities to slide up the rivals 100 list. Treasure Coast linebacker Jeff Luc rounded out the top 10 with a five star rating.

In all, nine Gridironstuds.com members made the Rivals 100 list. Here’s how the rest shook out:
