January 29th
St. Thomas Aquinas H.S. (Florida) running back Giovanni Bernard has committed to North Carolina. Bernard had committed to Notre Dame earlier but began looking around when Charlie Weiss was let go.
January 27th
Temple H.S. (Texas) running back and Gridironstuds.com member Lache Seastrunk has committed to Oregon. Seastrunk has been sought after by virtually every school in the country. In the end, Seastrunk chose Oregon over Auburn, LSU, California, USC and Memphis.
Boyd Anderson H.S. (Florida) DB Demar Dorsey has been dropped by Florida as a recruit. There has been much speculation that Dorsey was going to change his commitment from Florida to Florida St. This recent moves all but seals that.
Manatee H.S. (Florida) wide receiver Ace Sanders has chosen South Carolina. Sanders was also being recruited by West Virginia, Rutgers, USF, Purdue and Iowa St.
January 26th
Taft H.S. (CA) running back/defensive back Lucky Radley has picked up four new offers from Texas Tech, Nebraska, Kansas and Duke.
Ocoee H.S. (FL) defensive end and Gridironstuds.com member Nordly Capi has committed to Colorado St.

One of the most productive backs in St. Thomas Aquinas history made an important choice on Tuesday when Gio Bernard opted for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Bernard was a highly recruited talent that narrowed his choices down to Florida St., Tennessee, Oregon St. Nebraska and Alabama before going with Notre Dame. Bernard has made a career out of both tough running and tough yards. Making this college decision was equally as tough but in the end, Notre Dame, he determined was here he wanted to be. Glades Central H.S. (FL) running back Antwan Chisholm has chosen Mississippi St. over West Virginia, Oklahoma St., Southern Mississippi, Rutgers and Ole Miss.
