Glenville H.S. (Ohio) safety Latwan Anderson has delayed his commitment announcement. Anderson was scheduled to announce on October 10th. However, Anderson says his coach has told him to take his visits and have fun with it. I really think it comes down to West Virginia and Ohio St. and I am going to go out on a limb and say that I think he favors West Virginia over Ohio St. We will see how things unfold.
Gainesville H.S. (Florida) cornerback Devont’a Davis has committed to the Miami Hurricanes. Davis, an admitted Gators fan made some interesting comments to InsidetheU. Speaking about Florida, who he does not currently have an offer from, Davis said the following:
“To me, I feel like I have nothing against Florida, I’m still going to love Florida, but I’m a Cane. Even if they offer me a scholarship, I’m not worried about that. It doesn’t matter. I’m a Cane and that’s all that matters.”
He also added: “Miami is on a roll right now. I have to be a apart of it right now. I’m excited right now. I’m out of breath right now.”

Chad Wilson is a college football recruiting expert and creator of the GridironStudsApp which allows high school football players to gain exposure to college football coaches and fans. Wilson is a former college football player for the University of Miami (92-94) and Long Beach St. (’90-’91) and played briefly for the Seattle Seahawks (’95). He is also a former youth and high school football coach for over 15 years most recently for 5-A State of Florida Champs American Heritage. Wilson’s oldest son Quincy plays in the NFL for the New York Giants and his younger son plays cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals.
