New Offer for North Florida Christian’s Clint Trickett After Spring Break Road Trip

North Florida Christian’s Clint Trickett did what a lot of potential college football recruits did over their spring break and that is take a college campus road trip.

Trickett visited Mississippi, Louisville, Western Kentucky and Arkansas during his campus tour and came away from the trip with an offer from the Arkansas Razorbacks. Trickett also came away really impressed with Western Kentucky.

“Western Kentucky surprised me the most,” said Trickett. “Their facilities were some of the best I’ve seen along with a great staff.”

Trickett says he loved Arkansas and is also receiving steady interest from Mississippi, Louisville, Wake Forest and Tennessee. Trickett described Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffen’s methods as “interesting” and he’s waiting to see if they work. He is impressed with some of the high profile recruits Kiffen has managed to land in a short space of time.

Trickett is the son of current Florida St. offensive line coach Rick Trickett. When asked if his dad gets involved in his recruiting process, Trickett replied, “No, not at all.”

With some interest from other ACC schools, there’s the chance that Trickett could face his Dad’s team in the future. To the thought of that, Trickett displayed his strong self confidence with the following response, “I love FSU and all the coaches and players but then again, I’d love to beat them.”

Trickett put up 2,400 yards passing along with 25 touchdowns last season. He also added 400 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He will continue to be a notable recruiting target during this upcoming season.
