No 2010 recruit has risen faster through the rankings and the consciousness of fans and colleges than Treasure Coast’s Jeff Luc. Wednesday saw Luc reach another great honor when Rivals.com gave him their highest rating of 5 stars, named him the top linebacker in the country and ranked him the 10th overall prospect for the Class of 2010.
No one can resist the bone crushing highlight video that made national attention when it appeared on Gridironstuds.com. Since then, Luc has fielded offer after offer from colleges around the country and has now been put in the elite class by Rivals.com. Luc totaled 119 tackles, 19 for a loss, recorded nine sacks and had two interceptions in 2008. However, it’s not Luc’s stats that have gained him attention, it’s the way he got into the soul of his opponents. No other defensive player in the country has displayed such intent to destroy when they tackle as Luc has. If you have not had a chance to see Luc’s highlight video, don’t waste another minute.
