When you are good you are good and Derrick Woods is good. Woods along with teammate Patrick Onwusor team up to terrorize defensive backfields in the Southern California area. Woods might as well wear a hockey mask and carry a hatchet because for the secondary, it’s a nightmare. Watch Woods catch the deep ball after getting by defenders. Then watch him catch balls on defenders who happened to have good coverage. Then watch Woods take a short pass and turn it into long touchdowns. If that is not enough, watch him come around, take the handoff and splash into the endzone. All of this from a Class of 2012 prospect. That’s right folks, Woods will be doing this for another two season’s after this one. That has to make college scouts’ mouths water. His highlight tape is entertaining to say the least.
